Nanna Kristín Magnúsdóttir

Tvíliðaleikur / Playing with Balls

Iceland / 2014 / 9′

As tempers (and temperatures) rise between a couple on the tennis court, a group of older lesbians become intrigued with the goings-on, and one of them is inspired to take the opportunity to act on her desires and escape her daily routine — but the result may not be the blissful encounter she anticipated.

Joanna Rytel

Moms on Fire

Sweden / 2016 / 13′

An ordinary neighbourhood in an ordinary town. Two women sit on a sofa and scratch their pregnant bellies. Four days till the due date. The situation is as unbearable as it is unavoidable. It’s simply intolerable. Masturbation isn’t an option, the clitoris can’t even be reached, and the boyfriend is absent, but he’s boring anyway. The only advantage in having another child is that one no longer has to play with the first one. Artist and filmmaker Joanna Rytel uses claymation to candidly address questions and situations that usually go unnoticed.

Ellos Sápmi / Long live Sápmi

Sweden, Sápmi / 2015 / 12′

Ellos Sápmi is the story of the charismatic womanizer Klemet, whose leadership is deprived and who is betrayed by his own people. Naked hippie ladies, sex and bombs adorn this rebellious comedy, revealing the truth about what really happened when the first, Sámi Parliament was formed.
